The Fremantle Dockers opened their first store in 1994 on Market Street in Fremantle, opposite the post office, sharing space with the Club’s original admin offices before moving to the better-known Fremantle Oval in 2003. While there was no physical store at the Oval initially, it’s nostalgic to remember the few merchandise racks located near reception before an upgraded team store was built in 2003.
A significant change to merchandise operations came in 2004, with mobile van outlets operating at Subiaco Oval, capturing the energy and buzz of game day. By 2010, a permanent store opened at Subiaco Oval, operating alongside the Fremantle Oval outlet until both transitioned into The Dock at Cockburn ARC in 2018, our largest store to date.
The launch of the online store in 2006 marked another key milestone, connecting Freo fans across Australia and now reaching an international audience. Through every chapter, long-standing team members Craig Evans and Tony Godden have been part of it all, helping shape a store that has always meant more to the purple army than just a place to shop.
