What is the exchange and refund policy?

In reference to the Australian Consumer Law we are not required to provide a refund on an item if you change your mind or choose the wrong size. We are able to provide you with a credit note valid for 12 months for the equal value of the returned item, or you can choose a different item for equal or less value. All returns, refunds and exchanges are required to be in original condition (un-used and un-worn) with all tags attached, unless the product is proved to be faulty, and accompanied by a proof of purchase, this can be any of the following:

> a credit card statement;
> a lay-by agreement; or
> a confirmation or receipt.

Any items you have requested to have a heat seal name and/or number on the back of cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned unless the product is proved to be faulty. If a product is deemed faulty, depending on the nature of the fault, you may elect that a product be repaired, exchanged or refunded.

An item is deemed faulty when it:

> does not do what it’s normally supposed to;
> has a defect;
> is unacceptable in appearance or finish;
> is unsafe; or
> isn’t durable

We allow you 30 days from the date of purchase to make a return. In some circumstances we may allow this period to be extended. Please contact us to determine the best course of action.

We recommend that if you do return an item to us and cannot come into the store personally, do so via registered post so your parcel can be tracked, and that the products are packed appropriately. The Fremantle Dockers Team Store does not accept responsibility for lost returns. Return shipping costs will be your responsibility. 


Please also include in the parcel a note with your request, contact details, return address and any other relevant information.

If your order was placed online you will not be refunded postage and handling should the order be returned to the Fremantle Dockers Team Store.
